Tom’s Introduction

Hello!! Welcome to my travel blog/ journal. My name is Tom and I am from the U.S. In 2008, I left the corporate world of America to teach English abroad in Daejeon, South Korea. I have been living and working there ever since and have, for the first time in my life, had the opportunity to fulfill one of my dreams of traveling overseas.

This journal will have entries containing stories and pictures of the trips I take around the world. With the capabilities the iPad has created in Web 2.0 programs, sharing my experiences with friends and family as I travel has become possible. Journaling online also allows the writings of my travel experiences to live on forever without the fear of my thoughts getting lost in a physical journal.

So, for those who come across my memories, I hope you enjoy them as much as I lived these priceless experiences. One thing I can recommend to everyone— travel and see the world. Make it happen, you will never regret it!!! I finally am doing it, you can too.
